WOMEN MENTORING GIRLS WEEK 2021.
#WOMENtoringGIRLS
Commemorating International Day of the Girl Child.
I am an example of what is possible when girls from the very beginning of their lives are loved and nurtured by people around them. I was surrounded by extraordinary women in my life who taught me about quiet strength and dignity.” — Michelle Obama
Our Mantra: Catch them Young, Leaders of Today, not Tomorrow.
#WOMENtoringGIRLS focus on reducing girl’s vulnerabilities and expanding girl’s opportunities through pragmatic and self-efficacy skills needed for girl’s leadership development, self-esteem, financial independence and economic empowerment. Girl’s access female leaders and mentors, while creating leadership opportunities for girls as they grow up through #WOMENtoringGIRLS programs. We focus on what girls need in order to grow into a young woman without getting side-track in life or society.
Girls have a lot of dreams and wishes they need to articulate. Girls have so much they want to tell the world about their lives. We have a supportive Women Network of mentors and female leaders who power Girls.
#WOMENtoringGIRLS serves as a platform for emerging adolescent and teen girls to learn, share, collaborate through mentoring from women and their peers for their empowerment & transformation. We do not believe in one-size fits-all approach, we acknowledge the various specific needs of adolescent and teen girls as we work with younger girls of ages 10–14 years and older girls, ages 15–19 years both in-school and out-of-school.
