Annabel Wambui Kamondo – African ChangeMakers Fellow.

Annabel Wambui Kamondo (Kenya) is an awards winning business leader. She is the Founder and CEO of Elaborate Events, a business tourism company whose main focus is promoting intra-African trade through Trade Fairs and Conference Marketing.

Her dedication and hard-work have made her received many awards and recognitions, among them are: YALI regional leadership on Entrepreneurship 2015, Most innovative Business Creation Exercise Award by UNCTAD, EMPRETEC 2017, African ChangeMakers Fellow 2018 and most recently recognised by the British high Commission among WOB (women Owned Businesses) in Kenya and across the Commonwealth. Annabel is among the youngest CEOs in Kenyan Trade Delegations and equally mentors and helps other women entrepreneurs grow as the convener of Women in Business, KNCCI.

Annabel intends to promote more Kenyan businesses to gain visibility in Africa within the next few years. Discussions are currently underway with countries such as Ghana and Botswana. She invites the Government and County Governments through the Ministry of Trade to partner with her to be able to pro-actively promote Kenyan businesses and products to other African countries.
