Hello

Bring us a problem worth solving.

African ChangeMakers brings people, intelligence, AI/SI and collaboration to real-world challenges. You bring the problem. We bring the changemakers.

Host a challengeSee how it works

You have a problem you keep meaning to solve.

It sits on the list. Everyone agrees it matters. The team is busy, the budget is tight, and the people who could look at it fresh are not in the room.

Meanwhile, Africa has thousands of capable young minds who have never been handed a real problem. They have written the essays. They have collected the certificates. What they have not had is a chance to prove they can solve something that matters.

The Changemaker Challenge puts those two things together.

For organisations: what can you bring?

Do you have a problem involving any of these? Bring the challenge.

07

Impact reporting

Ready to bring us a problem?

Host a challenge

Submit your challenge

Tell us about the problem. Every problem becomes a Challenge Brief. Our team will use your answers to write a Challenge Brief and a scope of work. Before anyone starts, African Changemakers turns your problem into a clear one-page brief: what is going wrong, who is affected, what we know, and what success would look like.

What happens next

  1. You submit this form.
  2. ACi reviews your answers and may contact you.
  3. We write the brief and a proposed scope of work.
  4. We agree scope and fees with you.
  5. Fellows are selected and the work begins.

Takes about 15 minutes. Have your key facts and any report links ready.

01. About you and your organisation

So we know who is bringing the challenge and who can make decisions.

Are you authorised to commit your organisation to this challenge? *
02The challenge

This is the heart of your Challenge Brief. Be specific. Plain language is fine.

Which areas does it touch?

Choose all that apply.

What is going wrong, who does it hurt, and where does it happen?

Who are the people, where are they, and roughly how many?

Data, reports, surveys, experience. Tell us what you know and what you do not.

Please share a link. We cannot take file uploads on this form.

03What success looks like

So the team knows what it is working towards and how you will judge it.

What would be different, how will you measure it, and by when?

Expected output

Choose all that apply. We care less about the format than about whether it solves something.

Would you want to try the best solution in practice? *
04Timeline, budget and resources

This is a paid challenge. A clear budget helps us scope the right team and the right depth of work.

This helps us scope. The final fee is agreed after the Challenge Brief.

What can your organisation provide?

Choose all that apply.

05Visibility and partnership

How you would like to be seen, and whether you want to do more with African ChangeMakers.

Interested in other ways to partner?

  • Research it.

  • Diagnose it.

  • Build against it.

  • Defend it.
